Narcissa SIMMONS Biography

Narcissa was born in 1813 in Pike County, MS at Simmonsville. This birth date from census and grave marker. She lived comfortably with her family with land, horses, slaves...until the Civil War which swept away their possessions.
 
Kelly C. Brumfield, born 1877, said she remembered his grandmother, and attending her funeral in 1890. He said she had light red hair as well as he could remember.
 
She had twelve children with Calvin.
 
She was buried with her husband Calvin in the old Pittman Cemetery, north of New Zion Church in Walthall County.
